The DWP&#8217;s Attendance Allowance is given to those whose disability is severe enough to necessitate care from another person.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">If you&#8217;re physically or mentally disabled, or of state pension age or older, you might be eligible for this payment. Like other benefits, the attendance allowance saw an increase in April. However, other benefits you&#8217;re currently receiving could see a boost if you qualify. The lower rate is granted if you need frequent help or constant supervision during the day, or supervision at night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The higher rate is given if you require assistance or supervision both day and night, or if a healthcare professional has suggested that your life expectancy might be less than 12 months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">For the 2025\/26 financial year, the Attendance Allowance rates are \u00a3110.40 per week for the higher rate and \u00a373.90 per week for the lower rate.
