Emmerdale<\/a>\u2019s Gabby Thomas <\/a>(Rosie Bentham<\/a>) and Vinny Dingle<\/a> (Bradley Johnson<\/a>) have tied the knot at last as the happy couple exchanged their vows and looked to the future.<\/p>\n In typical ITV soap fashion, the wedding was not without a hitch or two<\/a> (so to speak), with Vinny vanishing just hours before proceedings could get underway. <\/p>\n The groom-to-be had bravely headed to the police station, where he reported his ordeal at the hands of Mike. <\/p>\n As viewers know, Vinny has been questioning his sexuality ever since he attempted to kiss<\/a> best mate Kammy Hadiq<\/a> (Shebz Miah<\/a>).<\/p>\n He resolved to seek help from an LGBTQ+ forum, where he met the aforementioned Mike, who claimed he was similarly confused about his sexuality after developing feelings for his best friend. <\/p>\n Mike, however, turned out to be a thug who preyed on confused forum users as he recorded Vinny\u2019s private conversations, beat him up in a violent attack<\/a> and blackmailed thousands out him.<\/p>\n \t\t Kammy, who received the blame for the attack on Vinny, encouraged his mate to reveal his ordeal to the police but Vinny was adamant that no-one could know. <\/p>\n However, the situation changed when Mike got wind of Vinny\u2019s wedding approaching and demanded more money, vowing to out him at the reception if he didn\u2019t comply. <\/p>\n Unwilling to live in fear any longer, Vinny bravely reported Mike on the morning of the wedding<\/a>. After detailing the ordeal to the police, Vinny exited the police station, where he saw Mike being taken in for questioning, having been arrested.<\/p>\n Meanwhile back at the church, Gabby broke down in tears, fearing Vinny had abandoned her at the altar. If he testifies against Mike then he\u2019ll successfully stop anyone else from getting hurt and scammed like he was but doing so will mean that Gabby would likely uncover the truth. <\/p>\n \t\t And Vinny isn\u2019t the only one hiding a big secret, as confirmed on-screen this week, as Gabby has one of her own.<\/p>\n Laurel Thomas<\/a> (Charlotte Bellamy<\/a>) gets wind of it next week and she\u2019s horrified by Gabby\u2019s plan is to take it to her grave.\u00a0<\/p>\n Just what is Gabby hiding? And will it spell the end for her and Vinny? We\u2019ll have to wait and see.
