Here are some of our biggest takeaways from the 2025 Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"kg-bookmark-container\" href=\"https:\/\/escapecollective.com\/the-vuelta-podium-you-didnt-get-to-see\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><\/p>\n<p>The Vuelta podium you didn\u2019t get to see<\/p>\n<p>Cycling at its most pure: a podium made of coolers in a hotel carpark.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/1758071111_413_cyclingimages-2025-Vuelta-Stage-21-834617-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" onerror=\"this.style.display = 'none'\"\/><\/a>Vingegaard did what he had to do<\/p>\n<p>In the two years since Vinegegaard last won a Grand Tour, UAE Team Emirates-XRG has displaced them as the sport&#8217;s top team. After Tadej Poga\u010dar defeated Vingegaard yet again at the Tour de France, it felt like Vingegaard had to win this Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a.
