Alan Cumming<\/a> is hinting that another major X-Men<\/a> character will be included in Avengers: Doomsday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Marvel<\/a>\u2019s Avengers: Doomsday is currently in production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the MCU<\/a> movie is scheduled to arrive in 2026. The sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars<\/a>, then follows in 2027.<\/p>\n

What did Alan Cumming say about Avengers: Doomsday?<\/p>\n

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight<\/a>, Cumming was asked if Halle Berry<\/a> will appear in Doomsday as the X-Men\u2019s Ororo Munroe\/Storm<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell. Maybe she does [show up],\u201d Cumming answered. \u201cHonestly, I\u2019m the last person to ask.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

When Entertainment Tonight\u2019s Nischelle Turner pointed out that Cumming is the \u201cfirst person\u201d to ask, given he\u2019s already leaked<\/a> some Avengers: Doomsday secrets, the Nightcrawler actor continued, \u201cNo, I suppose I am\u2026I got into trouble for talking about it earlier on. And I\u2019ve been trying to sort of muddy the waters ever since.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cumming previously let it slip that Nightcrawler has a fight scene with Reed Richards\/Mister Fantastic in Avengers: Doomsday. He then said he got a call from his publicist and was reprimanded about spoiling a plot point in the movie.<\/p>\n

Whether or not Berry does return as Storm in Doomsday remains to be seen. It\u2019s worth noting that she was open to reprising her X-Men role in Deadpool & Wolverine; however, Wade Wilson actor Ryan Reynolds never asked her<\/a> to do so.<\/p>\n

Along with Cumming, a number of other X-Men actors and characters have been confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, including Kelsey Grammar\u2019s Hank McCoy\/Beast, Patrick Stewart\u2019s Charles Xavier\/Professor X, Ian McKellen\u2019s Erik Lehnsherr\/Magneto, Rebecca Romijn\u2019s Raven Darkh\u00f6lme\/Mystique, James Marsden\u2019s Scott Summers\/Cyclops, and Channing Tatum\u2019s Remy LeBeau\/Gambit.<\/p>\n

Avengers: Doomsday arrives in United States theaters on December 18, 2026, from Marvel Studios<\/a>.
