Fall Guys<\/a> has fallen off a lot since its enormous debut in 2020 \u2013 and now fans fear it may be stumbling towards some sort of shut down.<\/p>\n

While there\u2019s been worries about the release for a while due to its dwindling player count, fans are particularly concerned about its latest update, which includes files for the outing\u2019s sixth anniversary.<\/p>\n

Those of you with basic arithmetic skills will be able to deduce that the sixth anniversary is scheduled to take place in August next year, and there\u2019s concern that the title\u2019s latest patch includes just enough content to tide the experience over until then.<\/p>\n

fall guys is cooked beyond belief, they added cosmetics for the 6th anniversary (just under a year away), and they updated the valentines & april fools versions of some creative maps, this game is shutting down within the year, there is no denying that at this point.<\/p>\n

Indeed, various other cosmetics and rotating events are baked into the files, suggesting that dev Mediatonic is putting the release into \u201cautopilot\u201d for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n

There has been speculation for several years now that Fall Guys may get rolled into Fortnite<\/a> eventually, as Epic Games bought the developer<\/a> and has folded various aspects of its gameplay into the Battle Royale before.<\/p>\n

We suppose it\u2019s possible that the dev is working on some big update or perhaps even a sequel, and so it\u2019s allowing Fall Guys to wind down organically while it turns its attention to different projects.<\/p>\n

Until Mediatonic comes out and comments on the situation, though, these worries from existing Fall Guys fans seem well founded.<\/p>\n
