The Jennifer Hudson Show<\/a> crew threw it back to Cardi B<\/a>‘s breakthrough hit “Bodak Yellow”<\/a> for her first visit.<\/p>\n

On Monday (September 15), the hit talk show posted the spirit tunnel from Cardi’s guest appearance on September 2, where the crew flipped the lines from “Bodak Yellow” to praise the Grammy winner.<\/p>\n

“At the happy place, she’s a superstar\/Number-one, she’s got all the hits\/Run go hella hard,” the team rapped.<\/p>\n

The crew continued that they had to show Cardi “all the love” because of her being “lit.” “If you see her, make sure you speak\/Because she’s who you wanna be,” they continued.<\/p>\n

The clip ended with Cardi being unable to contain her excitement before she went onstage to chat with Hudson.<\/p>\n

The Bronx native also had a song in her heart during the episode, busting out into Hudson’s “Spotlight”<\/a> as she was joined by the entertainer and talk show host.<\/p>\n

The Jennifer Hudson Show is memorable its spirit tunnel entrances that often go viral, with past recipients being SZA<\/a>, Big Sean<\/a>, and, famously<\/a>, Aaron Pierre<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cardi’s appearance continues the rollout for her long-awaited second album Am I the Drama?<\/a>, which she’s actively promoted through a pop-up<\/a>, interviews and soon, a six-date meet and greet tour. The “Outside”<\/a> artist has also filmed hilarious skits<\/a> with claims that she’s short of recouping her label, Atlantic Records, and is in dire need of money.<\/p>\n
