After the unsuccessful pursuit of multiple left-wingers, Bayern Munich<\/a> has been laser-focused on completing the signing of 28-year-old Colombia international Luis D\u00edaz, a target who initially seemed unattainable thanks to Liverpool<\/a>\u2019s resistance to sell. <\/p>\n

However, according to journalist Lewis Steele<\/a> (via @iMiaSanMia<\/a>), it now looks as if Arne Slot\u2019s Liverpool are willing to let D\u00edaz go, but only for a \u201cmassive\u201d offer. <\/p>\n

Bayern want Luis D\u00edaz a lot. Vincent Kompany wants him a lot. It\u2019s more likely than not now that he will leave Liverpool. LFC won\u2019t stand in his way, but the offer has to be \u2018massive\u2019. Bayern is by far Diaz\u2019s most likely destination<\/p>\n

Liverpool\u2019s willingness to negotiate doesn\u2019t mean Bayern are likely to get the former FC Porto player on a discount price, evident after Die Rekordmeister\u2019s opening bid of \u00a358.5m was rejected immediately. <\/a><\/p>\n

Liverpool are indeed looking for a \u201cmassive\u201d transfer fee if they are to part with D\u00edaz, reportedly around the tune of \u00a386m. <\/p>\n

The clear gap between Bayern and Liverpool\u2019s valuation of D\u00edaz, the Merseyside team\u2019s hard ball negotiation tactics combined with no need to sell an attacker, especially following the tragic passing of Diogo Jota, could prove to be a major obstacle in the winger\u2019s path to Munich. <\/p>\n

Respect to D\u00edaz, but is Bayern really going to break the bank for a player who will turn 29 in just under six months? <\/p>\n
