\n The Summerseat track is getting a major upgrade thanks to the Summerseat Village Collective, with support from Bury Council<\/a> and Proffitts \u2013 Investing in Communities.\n<\/p>\n

\n A spokesperson from the Dirt Factory team said: “We\u2019re thrilled to be working with the community to improve the Summerseat pump track.\n<\/p>\n

\n “Planned work involves reshaping the existing mounds and berms, resurfacing, and adding some signage too.\n<\/p>\n

\n “We know that by having fun on a bike, everyone can improve their skills, health, well-being, and confidence.\n<\/p>\n

\n “We can\u2019t wait for people to be able to enjoy this space again, and if anyone is interested in giving biking a go, then this will be a great place to start.”\n<\/p>\n

\n Children from Summerseat Methodist Primary School have contributed ideas to the design.\n<\/p>\n

\n Emma Speed from the Summerseat Village Collective said: “The renovation of the track is part of a much wider project taking place over several years to improve Summerseat Island and make it more accessible and interesting for visitors.\n<\/p>\n

\n “We want the site to be a great place for fun and activities, but also a haven for nature and wildlife that everyone can enjoy.”\n<\/p>\n
