Queen Camilla wore a tiara as she and King Charles hosted President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump for their state visit to the U.K.<\/p>\n

The state banquet was held at Windsor Castle and called for a white-tie dress code<\/p>\n

The Queen last wore a tiara in July for the state visit from France’s president and his wife<\/p>\n

Queen Camilla<\/a>\u00a0is sporting another sparkling headpiece from the royal collection for a glittering state banquet at Windsor Castle.<\/p>\n

The Queen, 78, joined members of the British royal family for the occasion on Sept. 17, honoring President Donald Trump<\/a> and first lady Melania Trump<\/a> during their state visit to the U.K. The event was also attended by\u00a0King Charles<\/a>,\u00a0Prince William<\/a>, Kate Middleton<\/a>\u00a0and other members of the royal family.<\/p>\n

Keeping with the white-tie dress code for state banquets, Queen Camilla opted for a sapphire and diamond tiara to complete her look for the evening. The accessory complemented her royal blue silk marocain embroidered dress by Fiona Clare.<\/p>\n

The Queen last wore a tiara in July<\/a> for the state banquet hosting France’s President\u00a0Emmanuel Macron<\/a>\u00a0and his wife, Brigitte Macron. For that occasion, she wore a sapphire and diamond tiara, necklace, earrings and bracelet that are all part of Queen Elizabeth\u2019s sapphire suite.<\/p>\n

Like the state banquet for the French state visit, the event was held at Windsor Castle. Although Buckingham Palace in London is the traditional setting for these types of events, it is currently undergoing refurbishments.<\/p>\n

Princess Kate and Prince William were the first members of the royal family to welcome the Trumps on Wednesday. They then accompanied their guests to the official welcome from King Charles and Queen Camilla before all heading to Windsor Castle, where they had lunch and a special exhibition of items from the Royal Collection.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Queen Camilla is set to have a joint engagement with Melania, as the pair are set to tour Queen Mary\u2019s Dolls\u2019 House and the Royal Library at Windsor Castle.<\/p>\n
