Celebrity Race Across The World<\/a>\u00a0stars have officially been confirmed for the upcoming series.<\/p>\n A new group of celebs will be taking on the ultimate race by travelling across the world with no phones or internet access \u2013 this time spanning the undiscovered Caribbean and Pacific coast of Central America.<\/p>\n The new season will kick off on the idyllic Caribbean island of Isla Mujeres, just off the easternmost point of Mexico, with the finish line 5,900km away in the remote and breathtaking Pen\u00ednsula de La Guajira in Colombia<\/p>\n Earlier this year, the winners of the civilian Race Across the World series were, for the first time in the show\u2019s history, a mother and son pairing, as Caroline and Tom<\/a>\u00a0took home first place following the 14,100km race across Asia.<\/p>\n This came after Scott Mills<\/a>\u00a0and husband Sam Vaughan were crowned champions in the celebrity version after a trip of a lifetime through South America.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tGet personalised updates on Strictly\t\t\t<\/p>\n Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro\u2019s TV Newsletter.<\/p>\n Sign up to our newsletter<\/a> and then select your show in the link we\u2019ll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you.<\/p>\n This time around, the BBC have teased this year\u2019s line-up, which is expected to air either later this year or in early 2026.<\/p>\n Who is in the 2025 line-up? In a post on Instagram, the BBC have officially revealed that Derry Girls star Dylan Llewellyn and his mum Jackie will be taking part. <\/p>\n \t\t The 33-year-old, who is also known for Big Boys and Beyond Paradise, appeared on Radio 2 this morning to discuss the upcoming series.<\/p>\n The celebrities are set to visit Central America in the new series, with Llewellyn revealing the new series begins in Mexico and concludes in Colombia, more than 5,900km away.<\/p>\n Describing their experience on the show, Llewellyn said: \u2018It\u2019s like a whole whirlwind of emotions, and so many struggles and challenges. <\/p>\n \u2018But also, I feel like you grow a lot as a person. I feel like I\u2019m a better person after it.<\/p>\n \t\t \u2018We were a great team, we helped each other a lot. We had each other\u2019s backs.\u2019<\/p>\n Anita Rani and her dad Bal<\/p>\n A few hours after this was announced, the BBC then confirmed Anita Rani will also be taking part. <\/p>\n The presenter, 47, who has hosted Woman\u2019s Hour on BBC Radio 4 since 2021, said: \u2018I can finally reveal to you all that I will be doing Celebrity Race Across the World with my dad.<\/p>\n \u2018Yeah, with my dad! I can\u2019t tell you any more than that. You\u2019ll have to watch it to find out. But, yeah, I got to do the dream programme.\u2019<\/p>\n Tyler West and Molly Rainford<\/p>\n Presenter and DJ Tyler West and actor and singer Molly Rainford \u2013 who recently celebrated their engagement \u2013 are the third couple to join this adventure of a lifetime.<\/p>\n In a video announcing the news, Tyler celebrated with a fist pump, saying: \u2018That\u2019s what I\u2019m talking about\u2019.<\/p>\n \u2018I\u2019m so happy we can finally talk about it,\u2019 Molly added, as Tyler joked he\u2019s \u2018sweating\u2019 and promised it was \u2018gonna be good\u2019.<\/p>\n The pair first met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2022, and fans rejoiced when Tyler proposed earlier this year.<\/p>\n The EastEnders star joined Tyler on his Kiss FM show to talk more about the exciting development as cheers rang out around the recording studio.<\/p>\n \u2018I can\u2019t wait,\u2019 an excited Molly told Tyler after he asked how she was feeling.<\/p>\n Roman Kemp and sister Harleymoon<\/p>\n Last but not least, we have The One Show\u2019s very own Roman Kemp, who will be joined by his singer-songwriter sibling, Harleymoon.\u00a0<\/p>\n Announced on the BBC evening chat show, Roman said: \u2018I can finally say it. We spent a very long time travelling from Mexico to Colombia.<\/p>\n It was high-octane, the scariest thing I have ever had to do in my life. Genuinely the most incredible thing I\u2019ve ever done. Me and Harley live very separate lives. We live close but never really get to hang it. We realised we haven\u2019t been on holiday together since we were 13.<\/p>\n \u2018And also, we\u2019re sharing a bed together for six, seven weeks and I start to remember her snoring and start going, how here we go.<\/p>\n Harley also shared a video message for Roman, calling it the \u2018biggest adventure I could ever have imagined and the hardest challenge\u2019.<\/p>\n \u2018It is not easy when you\u2019re watching at home on TV, I\u2019ll tell you that. But we had some highs, we had some massive lows. Everyone is gonna see you carrying around your lavender eye mask. As a brother sister duo how did we get on?
