Justin Long\u00a0(Barbarian) and\u00a0Kate Bosworth\u00a0(Superman Returns) lead the cast of the upcoming horror-comedy Coyotes from director\u00a0Colin Minihan\u00a0(Grave Encounters), and with the film premiering at Fantastic Fest this weekend, we\u2019re debuting new festival art today.<\/p>\n

Coyotes will premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin, TX on September 20<\/a> before hitting theaters on\u00a0October 3 via Aura Entertainment. Check out the official Fantastic Fest art below!<\/p>\n

In the film, \u201cWhen a scorching wildfire hits the Hollywood Hills, a family is stranded as their neighborhood is destroyed and their home becomes a blazing prison. Meanwhile, a pack of predatory coyotes disoriented by the fires tighten their perimeter around the house.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith collapsing roads and no electricity, the family must rely on their courage, resilience, and love for one another to survive both the inferno and the snarling threat outdoors.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mila Harris\u00a0(No Exit),\u00a0Katherine McNamara\u00a0(\u201cShadowhunters\u201d),\u00a0Brittany Allen\u00a0(\u201cDexter: Original Sin\u201d),\u00a0Keir O\u2019Donnell\u00a0(Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), and\u00a0Norbert Leo Butz\u00a0(The Exorcist: Believer) round out the cast of the killer coyotes horror movie.<\/p>\n

Tad Daggerhart\u00a0(The Expendables 4) and\u00a0Nick Simon\u00a0(The Pyramid) penned the script.<\/p>\n

Fantastic Fest previews, \u201cCoyotes\u00a0combines the claustrophobic dread of home invasion with brutal eco-horror, sugarcoated with various humorous situations. The film\u2019s atmospheric intensity, tight pacing, and escalating stakes channel the distinctive unpredictability of nature gone rogue and the disastrous consequences of the forced displacement of wildlife.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
