\n\tYou can bet Jon Stewart<\/a> has something to say about ABC pulling Jimmy Kimmel\u2019s show from the air.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Daily Show<\/a> legend is going to take over the news desk for Thursday\u2019s episode, breaking the Comedy Central show\u2019s usual pattern of Stewart hosting on Monday nights.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe move follows an extraordinary 24 hours in media that play right into some of Stewart\u2019s strengths as a commentator. <\/p>\n

\n\tStewart previously had a no-holds-barred response<\/a> to his own parent company deciding to cancel CBS\u2019 The Late Show With Stephen Colbert back in July.<\/p>\n

\n\tABC suspended Jimmy Kimmel Live! following a series of events that rapidly escalated on Wednesday. Kimmel had suggested during a seemingly offhand comment in Monday\u2019s monologue that suspected Kirk shooter Tyler Robinson was a MAGA member. On Wednesday, FCC chair Brendan Carr threatened <\/a>the licenses of ABC affiliates over the comment, prompting affiliate group Nexstar to declare it would preempt Kimmel\u2019s show.
