Academy Award-winning producer Graham King (The Departed, Bohemian Rhapsody) is teaming with screenwriters Josh Miller & Pat Casey (Violent Night, Sonic the Hedgehog) on a horror-comedy titled Dead Drunk, Deadline<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

In the film, a newly divorced empty-nester is coerced into taking a wine tasting tour by her free-spirited best friend. Subsequently, the two women find themselves trapped at a vineyard with a terrifying secret.<\/p>\n

As they struggle to survive, they discover an ironic twist that could be their key to making it through the night. Their only hope? Staying drunk to stay alive. They\u2019ll worry about the hangovers if they live to see the dawn.<\/p>\n

Miller and Casey will pen the script and executive produce. King is producing via his GK Films alongside his daughter and producing partner,\u00a0Hayley King.<\/p>\n

Dead Drunk brings to mind Grabbers, the 2012 Irish horror-comedy in which the inhabitants of a small island discover they must get drunk in order to survive an invasion of bloodsucking aliens.<\/p>\n

Miller and Casey\u2019s Violent Night 2<\/a> comes down the chimney on December 4.<\/p>\n
