The soundtrack includes famed Japanese composer <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/joe-hisaishi\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Joe Hisaishi<\/a>\u2019s score for the film, four tracks performed by <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/laufey\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Laufey<\/a>, and a cover of <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/4592-the-who\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Who<\/a>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/5873-pete-townshend\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pete Townshend<\/a>\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/9dw29xpA0Qg?si=jnIPiq5cq__ER3FE\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Let My Love Open the Door<\/a>,\u201d performed by <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/32541-mitski\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mitski<\/a>. Find the Townshend cover and full soundtrack below.<\/p>\n<p>Hisaishi is best known for his work with Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli, most recently collaborating with the director and studio on 2023\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/reviews\/albums\/joe-hisaishi-the-boy-and-the-heron-original-soundtrack\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Boy and the Heron<\/a>. With A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, he \u201cmakes his Hollywood feature scoring debut,\u201d as noted in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>Three of Laufey\u2019s four songs on A Big Bold Beautiful Journey (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) are covers, but one, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/M2_dZlw_zs4?si=pWucojy9q4DUuaaT\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Risk<\/a>,\u201d is an original that was apparently written at the behest of the movie\u2019s director, Kogonada.
