The museum is open through this coming weekend before closing on September 22 and starting a long clock to mark its return.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThat leaves three more days to see \u201cWolfgang Tillmans: Nothing could have prepared us \u2013 Everything could have prepared us,\u201d a photography show spread out over 65,580 square feet and conceived with the closure in mind. To mark the occasion, the Pompidou granted Tillmans the space in its Biblioth\u00e8que Publique d\u2019Information, to encourage \u201ca dialogue between his work and the library space, questioning it both as an architectural structure and as a place for the dissemination of knowledge,\u201d per a show description.<\/p>\n<p>\t\tRelated Articles<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"c-lazy-image__img lrv-u-background-color-grey-lightest lrv-u-width-100p lrv-u-display-block lrv-u-height-auto\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/GettyImages-1225433550.jpg\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/GettyImages-1225433550.jpg\" alt=\"A man with an arm leaned against a sculpture of a man.\" data-lazy- data-lazy- height=\"\" width=\"\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ a-font-body-m     \">\n\tWhen that\u2019s over, the Pompidou\u2019s activities will continue with its \u201cConstellation\u201d program, initiated in the spring, to disperse holdings from its collection to different institutions. Exhibitions under the aegis of \u201cConstellation\u201d include a Maurizio Cattelan show at Centre Pompidou-Metz, three-and-a-half hours away by car, through February of next year, as well as a \u201cHighlights of the Pompidou\u201d show at West Bund Museum in Shanghai and a Constantin Brancusi exhibition at H\u2019ART Museum in Amsterdam. Other institutions involved include the Grand Palais and, beginning with its opening in a suburb of Paris next fall, the Centre Pompidou Francilien.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMaterial elements of the Centre Pompidou\u2019s renovation work\u2014awarded to the Moreau Kusunoki agency in collaboration with Frida Escobedo Studio\u2014include asbestos removal from its distinctive facade (designed by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers), fortifying the building against corrosion, energy optimization, and work to improve accessibility.
