Fans have been counting down the days for the return of Married At First Sight UK <\/a>after a dramatic series last year, which saw risky pranks at the altar, tears and mismatches. The experts have promised the 10th series will be the ‘most memorable yet’ <\/a>with ‘a lot of firsts’ for the E4 programme.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, E4 revealed the 18 people<\/a> who are stepping out of their comfort zones to tie the knot with a complete stranger in hopes of finding true love. The new series has gone international, with groom Davide, 33, hailing from Portugal and bride Julia-Ruth, who is a professional dancer, coming all the way from New Zealand in the pursuit of love.<\/p>\n

We also have Liverpool’s Rebecca, an Aesthetics Nurse and clinic owner, Aberdeen contestant Sarah, a recruitment consultant and Edinburgh-based Paul, who is retired and looking for the one.<\/p>\n

Before viewers tune in to watch their whirlwind romances unfold, a few of the stars revealed their fears and hopes when it comes to marrying a stranger the experts have deemed their perfect match.<\/p>\n

Speaking about marrying a stranger, Rebecca, 32, said to the Mirror<\/a>: “If I think about it too much, I panic. I keep thinking to myself, he feels the same as I do right now. He must be nervous and wondering what I am like. I\u2019m so excited to take part in this with him.<\/p>\n

“I hope he\u2019ll have my back, and I\u2019ll have his..” She has her ‘fingers crossed’ that the experts matched her with someone she’ll get along with but reveals she’ll be turned off if they’re emotionally unavailable.<\/p>\n

While she’s all in with the experiment, she admits physical first impressions are important, adding: “I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll judge him on his height! I\u2019m quite tall so it\u2019s important that he\u2019s tall too. I just need to have that instant attraction, I want to look at him and fancy him.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Sarah, 31, has been single for a while and wants to meet the ‘man of her dreams’ as she had ‘terrible taste in men in the past’.<\/p>\n

The contestant has many worries about the experiment as she said: “I\u2019m putting everything into this. After revealing she doesn’t like anyone over the age of 18 having Snapchat or anyone with a negative attitude, she insisted she’ll be open minded as “I’ve been matched with him for a reason”.<\/p>\n

When asked about moving in with a complete stranger, Sarah explained: “I\u2019m looking forward to that. It\u2019s going to be a lot and it\u2019s going to be intense, but I am so ready for this! I\u2019m a good person to live with, so we\u2019ll have fun regardless.”<\/p>\n

Retired Paul doesn’t have many ‘red flags’ he looks out for when it comes to relationships. He’s only asking that the person isn’t “false”. When asked whether he trusts putting his heart in the hands of the experts, the 60-year-old immediately said: “No! Should I trust them?”<\/p>\n

The star is worried about what his partner will think of him when they’re walking down the aisle. He admitted his thoughts would be: “Cautious of their opinion of me. I\u2019m not worried about my opinion of them, because you can build on that, but I\u2019m worried about how they\u2019ll see me.”<\/p>\n

While he’s a little “nervous and cautious”, Paul is hoping to come out of the experiment a “better human being”.<\/p>\n
