{"id":151413,"date":"2025-09-21T15:42:07","date_gmt":"2025-09-21T15:42:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/151413\/"},"modified":"2025-09-21T15:42:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-21T15:42:07","slug":"rare-fin-whale-filmed-off-falmouth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/151413\/","title":{"rendered":"Rare fin whale filmed off Falmouth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">A wildlife photographer has captured rare footage of a fin whale off the coast of Cornwall, in what he describes as one of the most memorable moments of his career.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Dylan Coundley-Hughes, who is based in west Wales, was visiting Cornwall for a few days to film marine wildlife when he received a tip-off from local fishermen about a large whale sighting in Falmouth Bay.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;We headed out early Friday morning and started scanning the water,&#8221; he said. &#8220;There were feeding frenzies going on, dolphins, tuna, birds, and then we saw the blow of the whale.
