Graham Potter could be staring the exit door in the face at West Ham.<\/p>\n

West Ham most recently lost to Crystal Palace<\/a> at the London Stadium<\/a>, piling further pressure on the English head coach.<\/p>\n

David Sullivan could look to sack Potter<\/a> in the coming weeks, after what has been a hugely frustrating start to the season in East London.<\/p>\n

There has been very little positivity surrounding the Hammers, something which has resulted in Slaven Bilic being linked with a West Ham return<\/a> should the current boss leave.<\/p>\n

A fresh sack update has now emerged for Potter<\/a> on 22 September, which could have a telling say on the future of the ex-Chelsea boss in charge of the claret and blue outfit.<\/p>\n

It is fair to say that the Irons\u2019 boss is feeling the scrutiny after Potter\u2019s sharp tone with Ian Abrahams in the West Ham press conference<\/a> after the Palace defeat.<\/p>\n

The fans have largely grown impatient with the Englishman, with many now resigned to the fact that he will lose his job in the near future.<\/p>\n

This has been echoed by the Daily Mirror on 22 September, with the newspaper reporting that Potter is \u201cclinging to his job\u201d at the London Stadium.<\/p>\n

The hierarchy in E20 are now said to be \u201cseriously considering\u201d a change in leadership in the Hammers\u2019 dugout right now.<\/p>\n

This has seen Bilic, Nuno Espirito Santo, Gary O\u2019Neil and Sean Dyche be considered to take over as head coach in East London, potentially.<\/p>\n

West Ham\u2019s board now have a decision to make in the coming days and weeks over the future of Potter, with the upcoming clash against Everton seen as crucial.<\/p>\n

Realistically, things aren\u2019t going to get suddenly better for Potter after what has been a dismal spell in charge of the claret and blue outfit.<\/p>\n

Having taken over over eight months ago, there is little reason to suspect that his side will turn a corner and be massively improved any time soon.<\/p>\n

As a result, it would make total sense to move the former Brighton head coach on to welcome in a fresh face for the rest of the campaign.<\/p>\n

It is yet to be seen whether Sullivan and Co. will be brave enough to make that decision, but it does feel necessary at this stage of the campaign.<\/p>\n
