That was not the case for Alexander Zverev, who lost to both Alex de Minaur<\/a> and Fritz<\/a> in San Francisco.<\/p>\n The defeat to Fritz was particularly notable, as it meant that Team World had secured the Laver Cup<\/a> title.<\/p>\n Zverev does not enjoy playing Fritz<\/a>, and it is clear to see why after losing his sixth consecutive match against the American.<\/p>\n After being unable to help Team Europe retain the Laver Cup, Zverev<\/a> appeared very dejected as he sat back down on the bench.<\/p>\n However, he was not left alone in his disappointment, as Alcaraz<\/a> was spotted comforting his Team Europe teammate.<\/p>\n This prompted a lot of praise for Alcaraz, including from Portuguese tennis journalist Jose Morgado.<\/p>\n In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Morgado wrote, \u201cGreat touch from Carlos.\u201d<\/p>\n Alcaraz is often called one of the nicest ATP players<\/a> by his peers, and it seems like tennis fans feel the same way after watching him show support to Zverev.<\/p>\n One person wrote, \u201cMost likeable guy on tour for a reason.\u201d<\/p>\n Another social media user added, \u201cYou win as a team, you lose as a team.
