A Liverpool delegation has travelled to Paris for Monday evening\u2019s Ballon d\u2019Or ceremony, with five players plus Arne Slot<\/a> up for prizes. <\/p>\n

Reds go to Paris<\/p>\n

The Ballon d\u2019Or ceremony takes place at 8pm (BST) on Monday night, and the Athletic\u2019s James Pearce<\/a> has reported that a Liverpool contingent will be present in Paris.<\/p>\n

Mo Salah<\/a> is not the favourite for the award \u2013 that title arguably belongs to Ousmane Dembele \u2013 but he is among the contenders.<\/p>\n

Also on the 30-man shortlist for the main prize are Virgil van Dijk<\/a>, Alexis Mac Allister<\/a> and Florian Wirtz<\/a>, while Alisson<\/a> has been nominated for the goalkeeping award, the Lev Yashin Trophy.<\/p>\n

Wirtz and Van Dijk have already been announced as finishing 29th and 28th, respectively. <\/p>\n

In addition, Arne Slot<\/a> is up for Coach of the Year, with Liverpool also one of the five nominees for Men\u2019s Club of the Year.<\/p>\n
