The charismatic and poetic The Divine Comedy<\/a> could see Rainy Sunday Afternoon equal their highest-charting record to date (3). Lead singer and founder Neil Hannon and co. will be eager to replicate the success of A Secret History…the Best of the Divine Comedy<\/a> in 1999, which achieved the same position. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Making up the midweek Top 5 is the only studio release – billed a ‘lost album’ – from the duo of Lindsey Buckingham<\/a> and Stevie Nicks<\/a>, Buckingham Nicks (5). The self-titled album, released over 50 years ago, has been sourced from the original analog master tapes for its long-awaited return to vinyl as well as CD and digital release. \u00a0<\/p>\n

American rock band Nine Inch Nails<\/a> could see their soundtrack for the movie Tron: Ares break the Top 10 this week (6). The third instalment in the Tron series, it follows Tron: Legacy, which saw its album soundtracked by Daft Punk<\/a> peak inside the Top 40 (39). \u00a0<\/p>\n

The soulful Joy Crookes<\/a> could see the anticipated Juniper secure her a second UK Album Top 10, tracking for Number 7. Her debut release Skin<\/a> saw Joy gain huge recognition and position at Number 5 in the charts. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The final new entry in the midweek Top 10 comes courtesy of Newton Faulkner<\/a> and his gritty new album Octopus (9). The Surrey-born singer songwriter has experienced strong chart success before with both his debut album, Hand Built By Robots<\/a> and Write It On Your Skin<\/a> reaching Number 1. Octopus could see him achieve a fifth Top 10 release. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Popular DJ Sammy Virji <\/a>could see his maiden entry into the UK Albums chart with Same Day Cleaning (13). \u00a0<\/p>\n

Metal heavyweights Paradise Lost<\/a> could equal their personal best in the UK Album Charts with the release of Ascension (16). Draconian Times<\/a> also peaked at the same position more than 30 years ago. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Gaga<\/a> fever is well and truly alive following the release of The Dead Dance<\/a> and her sold-out UK Tour, The Mayhem Ball, commencing next week. As a result, her debut album The Fame<\/a>, could shoot an astounding 31 places up the rankings this week (19). Upon its original release in 2008, the record was an instant hit peaking at Number 1, staying there for seven weeks non-consecutively. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Irish indie rock band NewDad<\/a> are eyeing a debut Top 40 success this week with Altar (21).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Following a reissue of their classic 1974 album, Hawkwind<\/a> see Hall Of The Mountain Grill<\/a> potentially charting once again (32), having previously peaked at Number 16 51 years ago. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Seven years after the release of the iconic Invasion of Privacy<\/a>, Cardi B<\/a> could see her way back into the Top 40 with AM I THE DRAMA? (37).<\/p>\n

Following his new single Something In The Heavens dropping last Thursday, Lewis Capaldi<\/a>‘s last album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent<\/a> could find its way back into the Top 40, jumping eight places so far this week (38).<\/p>\n

Ending the midweek roundup sees Dido<\/a>‘s notable album No Angel<\/a> also making a possible return to the Top 40 following a special 25th anniversary release on vinyl (40). It spent seven weeks at UK Number 1 back in 2000.<\/p>\n
