LONDON, England \u2014 Frazer Clarke<\/a> is not expecting to face Jeamie TKV<\/a> for the British title next despite the British Boxing Board of Control officially ordering the fight.
After his defeat to Fabio Wardley<\/a> for the same belt in October, Clarke, 33, returned to winning ways by stopping Ebenezer Tetteh inside two minutes<\/a> at BP Pulse Live Arena, Birmingham on April 20.<\/p>\n

And now he looks set to fight for the British title again in his next outing, but the opponent for that fight remains unclear.<\/p>\n

The Board had initially ordered TKV and David Adeleye to have an immediate rematch<\/a> for the belt following the controversial conclusion of their initial encounter, when the latter won in the sixth.<\/p>\n

That night, Adeleye had made his initial breakthrough when referee Ron Kearney shouted “break” and even moved TKV’s arm before his opponent landed a huge left hook. After reviewing the incident a few days later, the Board decided the pair should fight again.<\/p>\n

However, Adeleye relinquished his British title and is now scheduled to fight Filip Hrgovic in Riyadh on Aug. 16 instead. The Board then ordered TKV to fight Clarke.<\/p>\n

But Clarke told The Ring that he is not expecting to fight TKV next, because the man from Tottenham has signed to face the rejuvenated Dave Allen<\/a> next instead.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had numerous messages off numerous people, good sources, saying that TKV is not going to be fighting me,\u201d Clarke said. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s fighting Dave Allen. I don\u2019t know whether he will be offered more money to fight Dave for the Commonwealth title or not, it\u2019s not my business, and it\u2019s totally up to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m unsure about who I\u2019ll be fighting next but I\u2019m not particularly bothered whether it\u2019s him or whether it\u2019s another challenger. All I\u2019m concerned about is fighting for the British title next.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s what the Board have ruled and that\u2019s exactly how it\u2019s going to be.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, with Adeleye, TKV and Allen all tied up, Clarke believes it could be either Solomon Dacres<\/a> or Nick Webb who get the nod from the Board.
Dacres, 31, improved to 10-1, 3 KOs with an impressive 10-round unanimous decision victory<\/a> over the previously undefeated Vladyslav Sirenko at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. It was Dacres’ first fight since a first-round stoppage defeat by Adeleye in their English title fight on Dec. 7. <\/p>\n

Webb, meanwhile, had been out of the ring for more than three years before returning to score an eighth-round stoppage of Courtney Bennett in their October fight for the Southern Area title.<\/p>\n

Clarke said: \u201cSolomon had a good win so maybe the Board will put him forward. The other name I\u2019ve heard is Nick Webb. But I\u2019m not particularly bothered about who it is, I just know that I want to fight for the British title.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, The Ring understands that TKV is yet to officially withdraw from the British title fight ordered by the Board.
