You are right about quad meaning four, though.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Four what? Four legs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">But last time I looked I only had two. Then perhaps you need to look inside yourself to find a couple more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Inner legs? I just don\u2019t think there are any. You\u2019re thinking too literally. Before you even mention the F word, quadrobics practitioners insist they are not part of the furry community. A TikToker who goes by the name of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@wild.soleil\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Soleil<\/a> told <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/08\/26\/health\/run-and-jump-on-all-fours-like-an-animal-for-quadrobics-fitness-trend\/\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the New York Post<\/a> that wearing one \u201cdefinitely makes you feel like an animalistic spirit\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">What mask does she wear? A cat one, usually. Though, actually, she says she feels more connected to wild goats.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Does she butt? No! Again, it\u2019s not about pretending to be an animal: quadrobics is about exercising to mimic animal movement, including walking, trotting and jumping.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Yeah, but why? To push physical limits in order to improve coordination, balance and strength. \u201cIt\u2019s definitely a full-body workout,\u201d said Soleil. \u201cI\u2019ve lost a lot of weight since I started doing it, and I really see the definition in my body. I started getting a six-pack. Try it for five minutes and you will be out of breath.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Sounds like a lot of nonsense? Jarrod Nobbe also says that quadrobics is a good full-body workout.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Who\u2019s he? He\u2019s a sports performance trainer and weightlifting coach. \u201cYou\u2019re constantly engaging your abdominals, obliques and deep stabilisers (like the transversus abdominis) to support your spine and stay balanced,\u201d he told the New York Post in the same article.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Can\u2019t I do that without pretending to be a mustang? Yes. But Nobbe goes on to explain that \u201cprimal movement, animal flow and similar practices are gaining traction because people are craving more functional, holistic and playful ways to move\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">And I guess I don\u2019t need a gym membership!
