{"id":154548,"date":"2025-09-23T04:22:07","date_gmt":"2025-09-23T04:22:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/154548\/"},"modified":"2025-09-23T04:22:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-23T04:22:07","slug":"humber-nhs-board-apologises-for-nrs-healthcare-data-breach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/154548\/","title":{"rendered":"Humber NHS board apologises for NRS Healthcare data breach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The NHS has apologised following a data breach at a company that provided wheelchairs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">NHS Humber &amp; North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) said NRS Healthcare experienced a &#8220;cyber security incident&#8221; on 1 April 2024, when an unauthorised third party gained access to its systems.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">In June this year, the ICB, East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Hull City Council were told that service users in their areas were impacted by the breach.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">On behalf of itself and the councils, the ICB said it would &#8220;like to sincerely apologise to our service users for any concern this may cause&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The NHS has apologised following a data breach at a company that provided wheelchairs.
