Lennox Lewis<\/a> knows what it takes to win back a world heavyweight title an and has been speaking about Daniel Dubois<\/a>\u2018s chances of repeating that feat.<\/p>\n

Lewis retired in 2003, having beaten every man he ever faced in the ring, and before Oleksandr Usyk in 2024, he was the last undisputed heavyweight champion.<\/p>\n

However, along the way, he took two upset losses to Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman, both of which he managed to avenge in rematches with impressive knockout victories.<\/p>\n

Dubois last fought in August when he was beaten by KO for a second time by the now two-time undisputed ruler Usyk. That left him without the belt he had won after beating Filip Hrgovic in June 2024, then defended when he stopped former two-time champion Anthony Joshua<\/a> in August last year.<\/p>\n

Speaking to BoxNation,<\/a> Lewis backed Dubois to get back to the top.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a lot of guys out there he can beat. Usyk\u2019s not going to be there forever, he\u2019s still learning, and he can still do a lot of great things in boxing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since his last fight, Dubois has left his trainer Don Charles<\/a> and is set to hook up with former Joshua coach Tony Sims as he looks to get back in contention for a second world title tilt.<\/p>\n

Right now, the only losses in his career are the two against Usyk and once against Joe Joyce when he retired with a broken eye socket.
