Floyd Mayweather<\/a> is widely considered to be the greatest fighter to have ever laced up the gloves.<\/p>\n

The Michigan-native entered the paid ranks back in 1996 after a stellar amateur career which saw him walk away from the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia with a featherweight bronze medal.<\/p>\n

He would go on to win world titles across five weight classes<\/a> throughout the course of his decorated 21-year professional career, defeating the likes of Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley, Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao<\/a> along the way.<\/p>\n

Mayweather eventually called time on his tenure just a few months on from his monumental crossover bout with UFC star Conor McGregor, stopping the Irishman in the 10th round of showdown at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

When Mayweather was discussing the best fighter he ever faced in an interview with Fight Hub TV<\/a>, he revealed Pacquiao as being the greatest opponent, brandishing his former rival as \u2018one hell of a fighter\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe best fighter I ever fought probably was Manny Pacquiao.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s because of his movement. He\u2019s a hell of a fighter, and I can see why he won so many fights, and I can see why he\u2019s going down as a Hall of Famer. It\u2019s just certain moves he makes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mayweather and Pacquiao finally locked horns in May 2015 in a clash billed as the \u2018Fight of the Century\u2019<\/a>.
