Located at https:\/\/whathappenedtorileybrennan.com<\/a>, the cryptic Shelby Oaks website requires a password to get in, and it didn\u2019t take long for horror fans to crack the code.<\/p>\n

The password? lookingforpara7. Entering that password opens up a media player and unlocks a minute-long video of various random clips including\u00a0security camera footage from a gas station and bits of creepy footage shot inside a creepy home. Check it out for yourself\u2026\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

A traditional narrative that incorporates found footage elements, the supernatural horror film hits theaters on\u00a0October 24.<\/p>\n

Shelby Oaks\u00a0is about missing paranormal investigators, the dark legacy they uncovered, and the far-reaching effects their investigation has as Mia searches for her sister Riley, the lead paranormal investigator, 12 years later. The film\u2019s official synopsis continues\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cAs Mia uncovers new and disturbing leads related to Riley\u2019s disappearance, she uncovers evidence of a hidden supernatural evil dating all the way back to her and Riley\u2019s childhood.\u201d<\/p>\n

Horror master\u00a0Mike Flanagan\u00a0(Doctor Sleep, \u201cThe Fall of the House of Usher\u201d) recently came on board the upcoming\u00a0Shelby Oaks\u00a0as an executive producer. Flanagan, Trevor Macy and Melinda Nishioka of Intrepid Pictures joined the team as producers.<\/p>\n

Shelby Oaks\u00a0has been rated \u201cR\u201d for \u201cviolent content\/gore, suicide and language.\u201d<\/p>\n
