TikTok\u2019s most terrifying video of recent times has just dropped, and for once, it\u2019s making people thankful they\u2019re too poor to go on vacation right now.<\/p>\n
In the viral video flooding everyone\u2019s FYP, a woman is seen getting stuck in a tube slide on a cruise and desperately tries to crawl her way out.<\/p>\n
Commenters watched in horror at the claustrophobic nightmare, while those brave enough asked the question on everyone\u2019s minds: how did she get out?<\/p>\n
What does the video show?<\/p>\n
The harrowing video<\/a>, which currently stands at 6.9 million views, was uploaded to TikTok on Sept. 19, 2025, by user @kaylamierzejewski. Uploaded alongside the caption, \u201cNothing beats a Jet2 holiday\u201d, and its accompanying sound, the TikTok is one in a long line of trending videos that pair the upbeat commercial <\/a>for a British airline, with videos showing ironic or unpleasant moments happening on vacation.<\/p>\n In this particular video, a woman is seen attempting to push herself up the shoot of the enclosed slide to no avail, before heading back the other way.<\/p>\n \u201cOh my god she\u2019s literally stuck,\u201d the OP of the video can be heard exclaiming.<\/p>\n The overwhelming majority of commenters expressed sheer anxiety and fear at what they were witnessing.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cAnyone else having a panic attack watching this?\u201d wrote one user, while someone else confirmed, \u201cI would have the worst panic attack of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n Gmlaflare took it one step further, commenting, \u201cStuck in a waterslide over actual ocean water would send me into a psychosis.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI would instantly pass away,\u201d added Hannah Ross.<\/p>\n Others criticized the woman\u2019s technique, questioning why she hadn\u2019t flipped over to try and crawl, or attempted to go back down the slide before trying to climb up it.<\/p>\n Scroll was confused by the cruise ship\u2019s infrastructure. \u201cI don\u2019t understand why they have a slide that goes UP,\u201d they wrote.<\/p>\n For others, there was a sense of relief that they weren\u2019t in this situation because of their own finances.<\/p>\n \u201cPoverty has saved me once again,\u201d commented kittykims.<\/p>\n \u201cYou simply couldn\u2019t PAY me to go on a cruise,\u201d Shannon Delgado added.<\/p>\n How did the woman manage to get out?<\/p>\n Amidst the panic and financial gratitude, some commenters expressed concern that the video was cut short without showing what happened next. Especially as so far, there has been no update from OP @kaylamierzejewski.\u00a0(Though there have been several reaction videos<\/a>\u2014including one from the chef onboard the infamous Poop Cruise<\/a>.)<\/p>\n User Nek perhaps summed it up best: \u201cI need the resolution video so my breathing can return to normal.\u201d<\/p>\n In the comments section, rumors swirled about a certain mechanism in the slide that might allow those trapped to escape, but it wasn\u2019t until finding a surprise second video<\/a> about seemingly the exact same slide that viewers got their answer.<\/p>\n On Sept. 3, a full two weeks earlier, TikTok user @IXImisterwolfXI posted an almost identical video with onscreen text reading, \u201cGot stuck in the water slide.\u201d<\/p>\n In it, a man presumed to be OP is seen being propelled up the slide\u2019s steep curve, but upon reaching the top, his body loses momentum and he falls back down at exactly the same point as the woman did.<\/p>\n Commenters couldn\u2019t believe what they were seeing.<\/p>\n \u201cWhattt? This is the second video I\u2019ve seen of someone getting stuck in this slide,\u201d wrote Krizmarie24. \u201cWhy do they keep allowing people to go on it?\u201d<\/p>\n Others implied that there were yet more videos of this slide out there on TikTok. \u201cThis is now my 3rd. You will never get me in a tube slide again,\u201d said someone else.<\/p>\n Thankfully, @IXmisterwolfXI was on hand to answer people\u2019s burning questions\u2014presuming of course, that this is the same slide.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is Norwegian Bliss to Mexico. Cabo and Ensenada,\u201d he explained, when asked which cruise line this happened on.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201chow can u escape,\u201d someone questioned.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is an escape hatch you have to crawl back to and they let you out,\u201d OP revealed. \u201cThankfully there is an alarm to let them know you\u2019re stuck.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite the absolute terror on show, he also confirmed that nothing beats a Jet2, or rather, in this case, Norwegian Cruise Line holiday.<\/p>\n \u201cAside from this slide it was a great trip.
