Chappell Roan<\/a> may be known for her edgy style, but she recently found herself caught off-guard by the boldness of her own outfit. <\/p>\n

\u201cOh my God, I forgot my bottom was just a thong,\u201d she told the crowd, as seen in a TikTok clip<\/a> shared by StubHub. \u201cI look up at the screen and see my ass. I was like, it\u2019s gone.\u201d<\/p>\n

As it turns out, Roan\u2019s look was intentional, and she quickly launched into her next song as the audience roared its approval. <\/p>\n

Roan, 27, is wrapping her breakout year on her Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things Tour. The trek kicked off<\/a> in Warsaw, Poland, on May 30 and is currently set to wrap on Nov. 14 in Mexico City. <\/p>\n

In February, the Missouri native won her first Grammy Award for Best New Artist, hot off the success of her debut studio album, \u201cThe Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess<\/a>,\u201d which features the smash singles \u201cHot to Go!\u201d and \u201cPink Pony Club.\u201d <\/p>\n

True to form, the famously outspoken singer-songwriter used her Grammy acceptance speech<\/a> to urge the \u201cmost powerful people in music,\u201d such as record label executives, to commit to offering \u201ca livable wage and health care<\/a>, especially to developing artists,\u201d in the future. <\/p>\n

\u201cLike most people, I had a difficult time finding a job in the pandemic and could not afford health insurance,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was so devastating to feel so committed to my art and feel so betrayed by the system and so dehumanized to not have health care. And if my label would have prioritized artists\u2019 health, I could have been provided care by a company I was giving everything to.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to note: \u201cSo record labels need to treat their artists as valuable employees with a livable wage and health insurance and protection. Labels, we got you, but do you got us?\u201d<\/p>\n
