{"id":157167,"date":"2025-09-24T08:35:07","date_gmt":"2025-09-24T08:35:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/157167\/"},"modified":"2025-09-24T08:35:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T08:35:07","slug":"research-1-in-5-us-multifamily-homes-receive-gigabit-download-speeds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/157167\/","title":{"rendered":"Research: 1 in 5 US multifamily homes receive gigabit download speeds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Parks Associates has announced a new white paper,\u00a0A Guide to Connectivity Innovations in Multifamily Housing,\u00a0in partnership with Cox Communities, with research showing that nearly one in five multifamily residents with home internet in the US reported receiving gigabit or faster download speeds.<\/p>\n<p>The research explores key connectivity options available for multifamily properties, including legacy bulk and retail service, managed Wi-Fi, and the increasingly popular trend of instant activation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInternet and connectivity create the foundation for highly valuable resident amenities and modern operational tools,\u201d said\u00a0Kristen Hanich, Director of Research, Parks Associates. \u201cThe owners and operators of multifamily properties must consider the implications of deploying connectivity to new construction versus existing buildings and evaluate their goals, the costs of deployment, and the potential payoff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A Guide to Connectivity Innovations in Multifamily Housing\u00a0reports that customer satisfaction with home internet is highest among those with high speeds and lowest among those with low speeds.
