West Ham manager Graham Potter is coming under increased scrutiny.<\/p>\n

Potter is said to be clinging onto the West Ham job<\/a> after a hugely difficult start to the Premier League season.<\/p>\n

This has seen the London Stadium<\/a> club fall to four defeats, with the most recent seeing West Ham lose 2-1 against Crystal Palace<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As a result, fans were left far from impressed, especially on a day when West Ham protests were aimed against David Sullivan<\/a> and the board in E20.<\/p>\n

A breaking update has now emerged which could go some way to understanding the future of Potter<\/a> in charge of the claret and blue outfit.<\/p>\n

It is fair to say that the Irons are considering their options ahead of making a decision over the Englishman in East London.<\/p>\n

This has seen West Ham showcase interest in Nuno Espirito Santo<\/a> and Slaven Bilic, despite the ex-Chelsea boss still being in the job.<\/p>\n

It now appears as if Potter is going to be in charge for the upcoming clash against Everton, which could go some way to dictating his own future.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI\u2019m being told that the mood at the training ground is very positive. It\u2019s calm and settled at the moment. And Potter still has significant support among the players. <\/p>\n

It is fair to say that this update will come as a surprise, given the general vibe around the London Stadium after the Crystal Palace defeat.<\/p>\n

The Olympic ground emptied quickly, and the lack of positive atmosphere was there for all to see, even after Jarrod Bowen\u2019s equaliser.<\/p>\n

As a result, the sack for Potter felt inevitable, but it now seems as if the decision surrounding the former Brighton boss has been pushed back.<\/p>\n

Now supporters will wait to learn the result and performance level against Everton, something which could have a telling impact on the head coach\u2019s future.<\/p>\n
