Isack Hadjar wishes to drive Williams F1 car as it terms it as a good car, but doesn\u2019t see it as outright best in midfield against his own Visa Cash App RB machinery.<\/p>\n
After the weekend in Baku, Williams has 101 points against Visa Cash App RB\u2019s 72 in their fight for fifth in the F1 constructors\u2019 championship. The latter leapfrogged Aston Martin to be sixth, creating 10 points between the two and inching closer to the Grove-based outfit.<\/p>\n
With only seven races left, including three sprint events, the fight is on for fifth still. And Hadjar agrees Williams to be a good car and one he would like to drive to ascertain. But he doesn\u2019t see it as an all-rounder or the best in the midfield. As per the trend, he feels it performs well in slow tracks.<\/p>\n
And also circuits with long straights, while Visa Cash App RB performs well on high-speed tracks. He isn\u2019t certain which car is easier to drive, but he would like to think that his car is. \u201cI mean it is a F1 car, I think it is easy to drive, maybe easier than some other cars, but I don\u2019t think it\u2019s a struggle,\u201d said Hadjar on if Visa Cash App RB is easier to drive.<\/p>\n
\u201cLooking at the Williams \u2013 I would like to try Williams for example \u2013 I think it is a very good car as well, so yeah, lets see,\u201d summed up Hadjar. When asked about Williams being the best of the midfield considering the results and points gap, he added: \u201cIt depends on track characteristics.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think we go to places like with bit more high-speed corners, we have the edge on them. If we go to places with straightline speed and slow corners, they are faster. It has been the trend the whole season, so it really depends on the track we are going to. We expect to be strong everywhere, so.\u201d<\/p>\n
