Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> in 2017, seemingly teased they were working on a new joint project back in June.<\/p>\nGemma, 40, posted a picture of herself and Gorka, 35, on Instagram as they took part in a photoshoot together, alongside which she added a GIF which said: “Loading…” and another which said: “What is this????”<\/p>\n
It’s now been confirmed that Gemma and Gorka will release their own podcast, which comes after they had their own sucessful family reality show. Gemma & Gorka: Behind the Lens, on U&W.<\/p>\n
The new original Rayo Podcast ‘Lost in Translation’ explores the couple’s day-to-day life, juggling their busy schedules alongside parenting their two young children.<\/p>\n
According to a synopsis for what fans can expect: “With language and cultural differences also thrown into their relationship mix they can find themselves, like many couples, not always seeing eye to eye along the way!<\/p>\n
“Gemma finds it frustrating that Gorka has a place for everything and everything must be in its place whereas her more laid-back messy approach drives Gorka up the wall. He also doesn\u2019t understand how she can have absolutely no interest in her fashion choices but is happy to consult her crystals in their big life choices.<\/p>\n
“As well as stories and discussions from their own lives the couple who met on Strictly in 2017 will be helping their listeners to navigate any problems they might have with their own unique set of advice, but will Gemma and Gorka be offering the same solution or be dancing to a totally different beat?”<\/p>\n

Gorka commented on the news: “Gemma and I are different, but that\u2019s what makes us work. We bicker, we laugh, and we always find a way through. We hope Lost in Translation makes people feel less alone in their own relationship dilemmas and brings a smile to their faces.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gemma went on: “We wanted to create something really authentic that parents and couples can relate to. Life with two kids and conflicting schedules is always an adventure, and Gorka and I definitely have our moments! This podcast is about embracing those differences and finding the funny side.”<\/p>\n
They’ve also shared the news on social media. They shared their new main image alongside the message “Big News” on the Instagram page for Gemma’s solo podcast, The Overshare, while the caption of the post read: “Hello Oversharers! We\u2019ve got BIG news.<\/p>\n
“@glouiseatkinson will be back in your pod ears very soon\u2026 and this time she\u2019ll have a VERY special co-host @gorka_marquez\u2026 and they will be getting \u2018Lost In Translation\u2019 with their brand new podcast! Make sure you keep your eyes on the social channels for more news coming soon\u2026”<\/p>\n
And fans were quick to respond. @whitesandshomeaccessories said: “Yessss I am definitely tuning in.” @lara_lou_laa commented: “Oooo this will be fab.” @gorka_marquez_fan wrote: “Can\u2019t wait guys.”<\/p>\n
@scottyjotty replied: “Exciting! Can’t wait.” @lucymaygoodwin posted: “So excited for this.” @echandler67 shared: “Brilliant, can’t wait.” wendythomas7845 typed: “Looking forward to this.” @natcolfer added: “Fab-u-lous!!!”<\/p>\n

As mentioned, Gemma and Gorka met on Strictly in 2017, but they weren’t actually paired together, with Gemma dancing with pro Aljaz Skorjanec and Gorka with singer Alexandra Burke.<\/p>\n
Both pairings made the final but romance didn’t blossom for Gemma and Gorka until they took part in the Strictly Live tour, with the two going official with their romance after it came to an end in early 2018.<\/p>\n
Hits Radio host Gemma, 40, and professional dancer Gorka, 35, then welcomed their first child, daughter Mia, in 2019., followed by their second, son Thiago, in 2023, and got engaged in between on Valentine’s Day in 2021.<\/p>\n
