{"id":162108,"date":"2025-09-26T19:09:06","date_gmt":"2025-09-26T19:09:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/162108\/"},"modified":"2025-09-26T19:09:06","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T19:09:06","slug":"ocado-and-morrisons-down-as-shoppers-across-the-uk-left-frustrated-uk-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/162108\/","title":{"rendered":"Ocado and Morrisons down as shoppers across the UK left frustrated | UK | News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UK shoppers have expressed their frustrations after complaining apps from both Ocado and <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/finance\/personalfinance\/2113263\/morrisons-launches-first-premium-meal-deal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Morrisons<\/a> have gone down.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to DownDetector therer have been 902 reports of the <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/uk\/2113857\/tesco-ms-ocado-christmas-delivery-slots\/amp\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ocado<\/a> app being down since 5pm. For Morrisons, this number is 209. Dozens of customers have taken to social media to complain about the outage.<\/p>\n<p data-mce-linkchecker-status=\"valid\">One said: &#8220;@Ocado is the app down? Holding my Christmas slot but says no food is available?&#8221; Another said: &#8220;@Ocado Your app isn&#8217;t working, neither is the website. Do you know when it will be fixed?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/uk\/1992564\/ocado-customers-furious-hundreds-orders-delivered-missing-christmas-essentials\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ocado<\/a> is yet to reponse, only saying to users: &#8220;We are sorry to hear you are having issues.&#8221; One user said: &#8220;You\u2019re not answering your DM\u2019s or calls! Just do a post stating that nobody can make orders so people know thanks&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Morrisons customers are also complaining on X, with one saying: &#8220;@Morrisons is there a problem with your website? I\u2019m currently unable to complete my shopping order&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Another said: &#8220;<a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Morrisons\" rel=\"nofollow\">@Morrisons\u00a0<\/a>are you aware of issues with your app and website? Apparently everything I select is not available and this is the same for every aisle.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Morrisons hasn&#8217;t appeared to respond to any of these complaints, leaving users frustrated.<\/p>\n<p>This comes after the Ocado website was down two days ago. Hundreds of reports were sent to DownDetector. The brand apologised on X (formerly Twitter).<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson responded to one comment: &#8220;Hey, We&#8217;re so sorry you&#8217;re experiencing issues with our website right now.\u00a0We understand how frustrating this can be, and we truly appreciate your patience.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our team is working hard to get everything back up and running smoothly.
