\"Vidya Vidya Balan<\/a> made her debut with ‘Parineeta’ which was a strong women centric movie despite the fact that she shared screen space with Sanjay Dutt<\/a> and Saif Ali Khan<\/a>. While there were two heroes, the film largely revolved around her character. It was directed by the late Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra<\/a>. In a recent interview, Vidya recalled how Sanjay made her feel comfortable during ‘Parineeta’ and it was the first ever intimate scene of her career.She said during a chat with The Hollywood Reporter India, “We were doing the intimate scene with Sanjay Dutt and he came to me in the morning and told me, ‘Vidya I’m too nervous how do we do this?’ and I was like, ‘This is Sanjay Dutt’,” laughed the actress. She further said hilariously, “And he’s so seasoned, seasoned in every way and he is telling me this.”The ‘Tumhari Sulu’ actress further revealed that Sanjay said this to her just to make her comfortable. He said, “Look at his generousity. He made me feel that he was also nervous and it took the load off me because it was my first intimate scene and I didn’t know my way to do it. You always feel like you’re going to expose a part of you but that put me at ease.”What touched Vidya the most was the fact that Sanjay actually checked on her if she was doing okay, after the finished shooting the scene. She said, “At the end of the day, he came, knocked at my door, asked me, ‘Are you okay?’ He kissed my forehead and left. That’s why Sanjay Dutt is Sanjay Dutt.” She further quipped with a smile, “And he always smells lovely.”‘Parineeta’ completed 20 years in June this year.
