Clifton<\/a>.<\/p>\nHarris, who was educated at Clifton College, was staying in the city when the car, which he had for 19 years, was taken from where he had parked it.<\/p>\n
In an attempt to find his stolen car, Harris posted the registration and a picture of the car pleading with his followers to help him find it.<\/p>\n
“Owned 19 years and stolen last night. Pls keep an eye out for it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
However, his fans rushed to action to help return the car.<\/p>\n
One fan and follower, Lee, messaged Harris to say he had seen the car a “long way” from where Harris lives.<\/p>\n

Posting again to social media, Harris said a fan found the car and waited with it until he could be reunited.<\/p>\n
He said: “M5 update. This is Lee. He messaged saying \u2018I\u2019m stood by your M5\u2019.<\/p>\n
“It was a long way from where I live. And they\u2019ve made a bit of a mess of it, but it\u2019s back.<\/p>\n
“Lee stayed with the car until I arrived. What a good man.<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s clear these older cars are now a target and we need to be more careful where we leave them.<\/p>\n
“I am a very lucky boy having my favourite car returned.”<\/p>\n
The thieves did cause some damage to the car, mainly breaking the cover of the ignition to get the car started.<\/p>\n
