Manny Pacquiao<\/a> has spoken out about a potential match-up between Gervonta Davis<\/a> and Naoya Inoue<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Davis currently reigns as the WBA world lightweight champion, a title he has held since defeating Yuriorkis Gamboa six years ago. The 30-year-old from Baltimore made the most recent defence of his crown earlier this year, fighting to a split decision draw against Lamont Roach Jr.<\/a><\/p>\n

As for Inoue, \u2018The Monster\u2019 is often regarded as being one of, if not the greatest fighter on the planet right now. The 32-year-old Japanese sensation is unbeaten in 30 fights and currently holds the undisputed super-bantamweight championship, with his most recent defence coming against Ramon Cardenas on May 4 in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

\u2018Tank\u2019 has already shared his thoughts on a potential showdown with Inoue<\/a>, claiming it would be his \u2018dream fight\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat would be a fun fight. Now that would be technical. That fight right there, me and him\u2026 I\u2019ll probably be too big for him, but that fight right there it\u2019s like [a dream] fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an interview with the media<\/a>, eight-division world champion Pacquiao was asked to predict what he believes would happen in a \u2018super-fight\u2019 between Davis and \u2018The Monster\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cInoue. Inoue is fast. Inoue\u2019s style is like when I was young.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Japanese great will return to the ring on September 14 as he faces former unified super-bantamweight Murodjon Akhmadaliev at the IG Arena in Nagoya.<\/p>\n
