Glen Powell<\/a> opened up about one of his most unforgettable, and painful, dating mishaps.<\/p>\n

On Thursday’s episode of Jake Shane’s Therapuss podcast<\/a>, the Hit Man star, 36, admitted that an ill-timed move on his part once left his date with a broken nose.<\/p>\n

‘I would do this thing as a kid where I do like skateboard moves. You know where you jump off of something and kinda like spin. You know? Alright, I was not as cool. Like parkour?’ Powell explained. ‘So I was doing skateboard parkour, didn’t realize [my date] had followed behind me and I spun and I knocked her\u2026 I elbowed her in the face and I broke her nose.’<\/p>\n

The actor, who was a teenager at the time, described the accident as ‘gruesome,’ saying his date was ‘bleeding out’ and her face quickly became ‘puffy.’<\/p>\n

Looking back, Powell said the incident set the tone for his romantic life at the time.<\/p>\n

‘And I was like [that] just sort of is like really summed up my love life for the next like while,’ he joked.<\/p>\n

When host Shane asked if there was any chance to salvage the date, Powell didn’t hesitate to roast himself.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘No, no, no. I mean there’s nothing to do. You ruined it in so many ways. She’s, like, trying to play it off and it was, like, really not good,’ the Top Gun: Maverick actor said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Despite the early stumble, Powell has since been linked to several high-profile women, including actress Nina Dobrev, TV host Renee Bargh and model Gigi Paris, his most recent relationship before their 2023 split.<\/p>\n

During the interview,\u00a0Powell also spoke about an uncomfortable Hollywood encounter with a celebrity who had recently been ‘canceled.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Anyone But You star revealed he was caught off guard when the unnamed star, once one of his favorites, approached him at a party.<\/p>\n

‘I showed up to the party and there was somebody that had been on the ropes in terms of getting canceled,’ Powell, 36, shared. ‘It was one of those Hollywood parties where there’s like cameras and press and all that stuff.’<\/p>\n

At first, he recalled initially feeling excited to meet the A-lister.<\/p>\n

‘This person had made some of my favorite movies and I was like, “Oh, this is great.” He came up and he said, “Nice to meet you.” I was like, “Oh, dude. Such a big fan.”‘<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

‘This person was recently canceled and it was not good. I was a fan of their work but not a fan of their choices,’ Powell explained. ‘So, I was kind of just being nice. But then, when they wanted to take a picture with you, I realized very quickly \u2014 I was like, “Ooh, I don’t know if this is a good idea.”‘<\/p>\n

According to Powell, the actor ‘clearly clocked’ his hesitation.<\/p>\n

‘I realized, this guy, his face is toxic,’ he said. ‘Going out into the world, people are having a visceral reaction to this person in terms of the bad choice they’ve made.’<\/p>\n

Powell then drew a comparison to Russ Holliday, the football star he plays in Chad Powers, who gets canceled and disguises himself to join another team.<\/p>\n

‘Russ Holliday is just a guy that made a mistake. He’s not a bad guy. Some of these other people that get canceled, they should lie where they’re shot,’ he claimed.<\/p>\n

While Powell kept the celebrity’s name under wraps, fans have already launched a guessing game online.<\/p>\n

Among the names being tossed around: Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer, Chris Pratt, Ezra Miller, Will Smith and Russell Brand.<\/p>\n

The Top Gun: Maverick star has yet to respond to the speculation.<\/p>\n
