Jake Paul<\/a> has shared an important update on whether he is still chasing a showdown with four-weight world champion Canelo Alvarez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2018The Problem Child\u2019 is half a decade into what has been a controversial professional career to date, winning all but one of his bouts since making his debut in January of 2020.<\/p>\n

Paul has shared the ring with, and beaten, a number of MMA stars throughout the course of his boxing career including the likes of Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz to name a few.<\/p>\n

He locked horns with heavyweight icon Mike Tyson<\/a> last November, defeating the then 58-year-old via unanimous decision in Texas. Paul is now due to return to the ring on November 14 when he faces WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis in an exhibition.<\/p>\n

Another bout that Paul has been linked to other the years is one against Canelo, with the pair deep into negotiations earlier this year before the Mexican superstar instead opted to sign a four-fight deal with Riyadh Season.<\/a><\/p>\n

Speaking in a press conference<\/a> ahead of his controversial match-up with Davis, Paul was asked if he would still be interested in sharing the ring with Mexican icon Canelo, who suffered a defeat to Terence Crawford<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah 100%, you know that\u2019s another one of the biggest fights that can be made in boxing and after I beat this guy [Davis], Canelo\u2019s on the list for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n
