\u2018Sugar\u2019 Shane Mosley can easily be considered a legend of boxing, as he is a former three-division world champion. <\/p>\n

From Mosley knocking out Adrian Stone<\/a> to facing the likes of Floyd Mayweather<\/a> and Manny Pacquiao<\/a>, the American has had an astonishing career.<\/p>\n

Mosley\u2019s<\/a> most recent fight came in May 2016, when a unanimous decision loss to David Avanesyan would see his record drop to 49-10-1.<\/p>\n

However, nine years later, Mosley will get the chance to earn another win inside the ring.<\/p>\n

Mosley will make a return to the ring at 53 years of age on July 25th, when he competes at Indigo at the O2 in London. <\/p>\n

It will be Mosley\u2019s first outing since his 2016 loss to Avanesyan, as he takes on Matt Floyd. <\/p>\n

Floyd has an official record of 15-2, with his last fight ending in a unanimous decision loss to Jack Gregory in Australia. <\/p>\n

\u2018The Last Jedi\u2019 Floyd goes into the bout 17 years younger than Mosley, as he is currently 36 years old. <\/p>\n

The pair have recently conducted a press conference for the fight, where Floyd made his intentions clear regarding Mosley. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Shane Mosley targets Manny Pacquiao rematch, while Matt Floyd aims to spoil sequel <\/p>\n

In the pre-fight press conference between Mosley and Floyd, \u2018Sugar\u2019 stated his interest in facing former foe Pacquiao in the future, who recently drew with world champion Mario Barrios<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Speaking on Pacquiao\u2019s recent comeback fight at 46 years old, Mosley said, \u201cManny did get in the ring with a world champion. He did a great job and everything, but I\u2019m excited to get in the ring with Manny next.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Floyd was asked for his thoughts on Mosley \u2018looking past him,\u2019 the Australian reiterated the belief he had in himself. \u201cI fully believe in myself and back myself 100%.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Floyd is predicting a win, he did not necessarily guarantee a knockout of his opponent. When asked if he needed a knockout to win the bout, Floyd replied, \u201cI\u2019m not thinking about that. I get asked that question a lot. Like I said, I just do whatever I have to do to win.\u201d<\/p>\n
