Hall of Fame inductee James Toney<\/a> believes there is one fighter that is capable of knocking out Mexican great Canelo Alvarez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Canelo is just shy of 70 fights in to what has been an exceptional professional career to date<\/a>, winning world titles in four weight classes as well as the undisputed super-middleweight championship on two occasions.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old from Guadalajara has racked up a number of legacy defining victories throughout the course of his 20-year career, defeating the likes of Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley, Sergey Kovalev and Gennady Golovkin.<\/p>\n

He has suffered just three defeats along the way, at the hands of Floyd Mayweather and Dmitry Bivol previously before falling short to pound-for-pound great Terence Crawford<\/a> earlier this month in their monumental showdown at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Alvarez, however, has never been stopped or even put down on the canvas.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Fight Hub TV<\/a>, three-weight world champion Toney shared his thoughts on a potential match-up between Canelo and the unbeaten David Benavidez<\/a>, as he claims Alvarez would get \u2018knocked out.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cCanelo knows that if he fights Benavidez then he\u2019s getting knocked out \u2013 he\u2019s going to sleep! It doesn\u2019t matter when he fights him, if he fights him right now he\u2019ll steam roll him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Benavidez opted to make the move up to light-heavyweight after he failed to secure a showdown with Canelo at super-middle. The 28-year-old from Phoenix was elevated to WBC light-heavyweight champion back in April after Dmitry Bivol<\/a> opted to vacate the title to pursue a trilogy clash with Artur Beterbiev.<\/p>\n
