Earlier this month, the UFC CEO clashed with a reporter <\/a>who tried and failed to find out what his plan for the act was ahead of Canelo Alvarez<\/a> vs. Terence Crawford<\/a>. <\/p>\n Dana White insists he will not make any amendments to the Muhammad Ali Act after entering boxing.<\/p>\n The UFC boss wants to create a new version that will run alongside the one that already exists. <\/p>\n \u201cLet\u2019s be clear, there will be zero changes to the Muhammad Ali Act,\u201d White told CBS Sports. <\/p>\n \u201cNot one word will be changed in the Muhammad Ali Act. We\u2019re gonna add onto it. <\/p>\n \u201cSo, the fighters who want to fight under the Muhammad Ali Act exactly how it is will have the opportunity to do that. Or you can bet on me and fight with me under our version of the Muhammad Ali Act. <\/p>\n \u201cThat thing has been blown a lot out of proportion, and I get it. I knew people were going to freak out because that\u2019s what people do.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNo, but we\u2019re doing it,\u201d White added when asked if he needed to add onto the act before hosting his first Zuffa Boxing show in 2026. <\/p>\n \u201cListen, the Muhammad Ali Act was put into place with all good intentions, but I think it\u2019s held the business back. <\/p>\n \u201cAll these guys that have been involved in boxing for a long time, the promoters, they don\u2019t think big enough.
