Terence Crawford<\/a> appears to be approaching the end of what has been an outstanding professional career.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old Omaha-native wrote his name into the boxing history books once again earlier this month when he defeated Canelo Alvarez by unanimous decision to capture the undisputed super-middleweight championship at a sold-out Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2018Bud\u2019 put on arguably the best performance of his 42-fight professional career to date against the Mexican icon, becoming the first male fighter ever to win an undisputed championship in three weight classes in the process.<\/p>\n

Much of Crawford\u2019s success has been down to his long-term partnership with trainer Brian \u2018BoMac\u2019 McIntyre, who has been by the pound-for-pound greats side since he made his professional debut way back in 2008.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Fight Hub TV<\/a>, \u2018BoMac\u2019 revealed that Crawford could have at least \u2018two or three\u2019 more fights before he eventually draws the curtain on his accomplished career.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell you know what? He made it look so easy. Got two or three more in him. Training camp we\u2019ll try harder, you know what I\u2019m saying?\u201d<\/p>\n

Reports are even suggesting that Crawford could actually make the move down to middleweight when he makes his return to the ring next year which could set up a potential showdown with unified WBO and IBF middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly.<\/a><\/p>\n

Hard-hitting Kazakh star Alimkhanuly has already revealed that he would be interested in sharing the ring with \u2018Bud\u2019 in the future and giving the 38-year-old the opportunity to become a six-weight world champion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Terence Crawford appears to be approaching the end of what has been an outstanding professional career.
