Beware Satan. Magnolia Pictures has released the official poster for Nicolas Cage horror movie The Carpenter\u2019s Son this morning,\u00a0said to put a horror spin on Jesus\u2019 childhood.<\/p>\n

The Carpenter\u2019s Son will release\u00a0in Fall 2025.<\/p>\n

Nicolas Cage,\u00a0FKA twigs, and\u00a0Noah Jupe\u00a0star.\u00a0The Carpenter\u2019s Son\u00a0was officially rated \u201cR\u201d earlier this month for \u201cstrong\/bloody violent content, and brief nudity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inspired by the apocryphal Infancy Gospel of Thomas, the film tells the dark story of a family hiding out in Roman Egypt. \u201cKnown only as \u2018the Boy\u2019, the son is driven to doubt by another mysterious child and rebels against his guardian, the Carpenter, revealing inherent powers and a fate beyond his comprehension. As he exercises his own power, the Boy and his family become the target of horrors both natural and divine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicolas Cage will play the titular Carpenter, with FKA twigs as Mother and\u00a0A Quiet Place\u00a0and\u00a0A Quiet Place II\u2019s\u00a0Noah Jupe\u00a0as the Boy.\u00a0Isla Johnston\u00a0(\u201cInvasion\u201d) also stars.<\/p>\n

The genre-bending horror film\u00a0is\u00a0written and directed by\u00a0Lotfy Nathan.\u00a0<\/p>\n
