Tim Bradley<\/a> has urged Errol Spence<\/a> to avoid facing one man in particular ahead of his potential comeback to the sport.<\/p>\n

Spence has remained inactive since he suffered the first defeat of his career to Terence Crawford<\/a> in July of 2023, falling short in his attempt at becoming the first undisputed welterweight champion of the \u2018four belt era\u2019.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old from Long Island had been tipped to make his long-awaited return to the sport at a new weight class earlier this year, but a planned showdown with WBC super-welterweight champion Sebastian Fundora failed to come to fruition.<\/a><\/p>\n

Whilst there is still yet to be a decision made by Spence on what could be next, reports are suggesting that he could finally make his return to the sport at some stage in 2026.<\/a><\/p>\n

Speaking on his YouTube channel<\/a>, retired two-weight world champion Bradley admitted that whilst he believes it will be entirely down to Spence to decide whether he should return to the sport, he urges his countryman to avoid a potential showdown with unbeaten contender Vergil Ortiz Jr.<\/p>\n

\u201cErrol Spence, don\u2019t come back man, unless you need the money, don\u2019t come back man, you don\u2019t need that, you don\u2019t need boxing.<\/p>\n

Bro, look, you\u2019ve done enough already, ultimately it\u2019s gonna be your decision like Manny Pacquiao. Same thing and everybody else coming out the woodwork looking for that Turki money, if you need the money I understand it but for your health man.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeriously, you probably feeling good, walking around, training and stuff you know, you doing what you supposed to do, taking care of yourself, you feeling good and right, just keep it that way, because you get in the ring with Vergil Ortiz man, that ain\u2019t good man. He gonna turn your a*s into some chicken nuggets, absolutely, that man ain\u2019t nothing to play with.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ortiz has emerged as one of the brightest contenders in the sport over the last 18 months, remaining unbeaten as a professional since entering the paid ranks back in 2016.<\/p>\n
