Kylie Kelce couldn’t hold back the tears as she discussed the tragic moment she learned of her miscarriage seven years ago.<\/p>\n

In the latest episode of her Not Gonna Lie<\/a> podcast, the wife of\u00a0Jason Kelce<\/a>\u00a0– with whom she shares four daughters with – discussed the heartbreaking ordeal.<\/p>\n

Kylie explained that, prior to their eldest child Wyatt, she had received her first positive pregnancy test in August 2018 and that, after a few trips to the doctor, everything seemed normal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She explained that the couple then travelled to London, as Jason’s Eagles were playing there, which is when they revealed her pregnancy news to family and friends.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘By the time we went to London, I was supposed to be 12 weeks.\u00a0We made it a point to surprise Jason’s mom and dad when we were there by pretending to take a photo and telling them that we were expecting,’ she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, upon return, Kylie recalled her visit to the doctor and the moment she discovered that she’d had a ‘missed miscarriage’.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jason Kelce’s wife has had several high-profile guests on the show, including Michelle Obama<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

‘It felt like everything went into slow motion,’ she said. ‘And they could not find the baby on the doppler.’<\/p>\n

‘I remember being like, ‘Oh, there isn’t a heartbeat. You didn’t find one because there isn’t one’.<\/p>\n

‘They estimated that the baby had stopped developing between, I believe it was nine and 10 weeks. Essentially, I had had what you would refer to as a missed miscarriage. It means that your body did not realize that the pregnancy was no longer viable.’<\/p>\n

‘It was a s***ty day because it was Jason’s birthday. I called my mom and told her that I couldn’t tell Jason because it was his birthday, which seems very silly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘It seems very silly because obviously I’m going to tell my husband what happened. And I did. And it was hard for both of us.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Despite the tragic ordeal, Jason and Kelce have gone to have a large family and share\u00a0four daughters, Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finn, six months.<\/p>\n

However, Kylie admitted that the experience of a miscarriage in her first pregnancy created a mental barrier when they tried again later down the line.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Having had that experience then messed with my brain for every consecutive pregnancy,’ she admitted.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘So for Wyatt, we did not share that we were pregnant until I was after 20 weeks. For consecutive pregnancies, I waited till I was at least 16 weeks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I Googled almost every week what the percentage likelihood was that a baby could survive, which sounds really dark. I literally did it for Finn.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first time that Kylie has discussed the harrowing incident. She previously touched on it in a TikTok last <\/a>year- but spared the details with followers.<\/p>\n

After rumors circulated that she was pregnant – which was prior to Finn’s birth – she said: ‘I went into my 13-week ultrasound and there was no heartbeat. And I had to have a DNE a few days later.’<\/p>\n

‘So I do not take getting pregnant or trying to get pregnant lightly. And I think we just need to be in agreement that this is not a topic that anyone needs to be first on reporting.’<\/p>\n

Kylie met the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> legend on a dating app in 2014 while attending the now-closed Cabrini University in Pennsylvania<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She has been married to Jason since April 2018, 18 months before first daughter Wyatt was born.<\/p>\n

They then welcomed Elliotte in March of 2021 and Bennett in February of 2023 – just weeks after Jason lost to his brother Travis in Super Bowl LVII.<\/p>\n

Kylie met the Eagles legend on an app in 2014 while attending now-closed Cabrini University\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jason played 13 years with the Eagles and became a beloved figure at the City of Brotherly Love until his retirement in 2024 – which is when he\u00a0emphasized how important it was for him to be there for his daughters.<\/p>\n

‘[Kylie] has also given me three beautiful girls and a life that increasingly brings me more fulfillment off the field than it does on,’ he gushed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I am a product of my upbringing. I think one of the best things a person can be in this world is a father.\u00a0<\/p>\n
