Alisson<\/a> was forced off in the 56th minute against Galatasaray, due to a hamstring injury that will keep him out until after the international break at the earliest.<\/p>\n

While the early signs are that Giorgi Mamardashvili<\/a> will be an excellent backup, fans have still been left sweating on the next update regarding their Brazilian goalkeeper\u2019s fitness.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Alisson<\/a> underwent a scan and Arne Slot<\/a> is expected to reveal the extent of his injury at Friday\u2019s pre-match press conference.<\/p>\n

The shotstopper, who is celebrating his 33rd birthday this Thursday, worryingly also missed 12<\/a> matches for Liverpool last season due to hamstring issues.<\/p>\n

In addition, he was absent for a further two Liverpool games with a thigh problem, while concussion kept him out of another couple.<\/p>\n
