Lewis Hamilton<\/a> again touched on the team order drama involving Charles Leclerc<\/a> ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix. The British driver appeared to ignore a request to let his teammate through last time out at the Azerbaijan GP.\u201cIt won\u2019t happen again.\u201d- Lewis HamiltonHamilton detailed that he spoke to Leclerc following the incident and how the Scuderia Ferrari<\/a> team are working on communication to avoid a future scenario. Sharing his thoughts during the Singapore GP media day, he said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI spoke to Charles. Everything\u2019s fine. Charles has been great, and we\u2019re working on communication to make sure that it doesn\u2019t happen again. It won\u2019t happen again.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the race in Baku, Hamilton, who had swapped places with Leclerc during the race, appeared to have ignored the late call<\/a> to let the Monegasque through ahead of taking the chequered flag. Lewis Hamilton optimistic ahead of Singapore GP<\/p>\n

Lewis Hamilton also weighed in on his expectations for the Singapore Grand Prix. The seven-time world champion explains how he expects to carry the positive momentum from Azerbaijan to the outing at the Marina Bay circuit.<\/p>\n

The former Mercedes driver also touched on a few factors that need to be perfectly executed from the Ferrari team’s end to ensure an overall impressive outing.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery weekend it\u2019s difficult to say because, I mean, this is the first time driving a Ferrari around Singapore. The car felt really great starting the last Grand Prix, and we just didn\u2019t carry that through the weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I said, there have been learnings as to why that was, we\u2019ll have a better approach this weekend. Last week, I didn\u2019t have as much time with the team as I\u2019d like, but I know they\u2019ve been working very hard back at the factory, and we\u2019ve caught up over the last couple of days.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m feeling optimistic. I have no clue how quick the others are going to be. They\u2019re obviously going to be fast. The Red Bulls are very quick, as are McLaren and Mercedes, too. We\u2019ve got a lot of work to do. This weekend’s qualifying is key; that will be the focus.\u201d<\/p>\n
