TikTok<\/a> star and TV presenter\u00a0Jennifer Nicole Rivas has been found dead at age 21.<\/p>\n

The ‘lifeless’ body of the Honduran influencer was discovered in her home in the country’s capital Tegucigalpa, reported People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to various reports, Rivas is suspected to have died from an epileptic seizure.<\/p>\n

HCH Televisi\u00f3n Digital reported that Rivas had epilepsy and was on medication for the condition.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rivas was a popular influencer in Honduras, boasting over 100,000 followers on TikTok alone.<\/p>\n

She also worked as a presenter on\u00a0Honduran channel CHTV and was studying journalism.<\/p>\n

A number of Honduran media outlets issues statements after Rivas’ death was revealed.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘With deep sorrow, from El Showsero TV and the whole team of El Eventazo: Pickle War, we mourn the irreparable loss of our beloved participant Jennifer Rivas, from the Los del Barrio team,’\u00a0El Showsero TV shared in a statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘A person full of energy and enthusiasm who left a mark on every moment shared,’ it continued.<\/p>\n

‘Our deepest condolences to his family, friends and loved ones at this difficult time.’<\/p>\n

The late star’s social media accounts have also been flooded with comments from fans, with one writing, ‘Rest in peace my friend.’<\/p>\n

‘Beautiful memories she left us, fly high,’ commented another.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tragically, Rivas is not the only young social media star to die this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Teenage\u00a0TikTok star Joshua Blackledge died at the age of 16 in March.<\/p>\n

The influencer died from a gunshot wound to the head<\/a> on March 18 at his home in Newport, North Carolina.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Blackledge, a junior at West Carteret high school, had over 1million followers on TikTok.<\/p>\n

He often posted videos that saw himself lip-syncing or hanging out with friends as well as with his girlfriend Emmie Gillikin.<\/p>\n

‘Missing this sweet boy right now. never would\u2019ve thought i would have been here without you,’ Gillikin wrote on social media on March 20.<\/p>\n

‘Josh showed me what love really was even [though] I’m very young. He never failed to put a smile on my face no matter how mad I was at him.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Last month, TikTok star Malik Taylor, who posted parodic POV videos and his comments on pop culture, died at the age of just 28<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The news was announced by his business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi at Austin Peay State University in Tennessee, where he was in the class of 2020.<\/p>\n

They did not disclose his cause of death, but shared that he was ‘always bringing laughter, joy and a warm smile that brightened every room he entered.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Taylor had more than 250,000 followers on TikTok and also hosted a YouTube show called The Unpopular Party where he gave his opinions of pop culture figures.<\/p>\n

He uploaded an Instagram post last month revealing that he had just celebrated his 28th birthday, joking that he had ‘Survived the 27 club (barely).’<\/p>\n
