Goole Vikings continue to add to their ranks as they prepare to make the jump up to the Championship in 2026.<\/p>\n

The Vikings have already announced the signings of Jack Miller and Shane Tuohey, but they have now landed Jamaica international Keenen Tomlinson.<\/p>\n

Tomlinson makes the move from Dewsbury Rams, where he has spent the last season and a half with 22 appearances and seven tries coming this season in League One. That was his second spell with the Rams, with the 28-year-old having a two-year spell with the club earlier in his career.<\/p>\n

The back-rower, who has 10 caps for Jamaica under his belt and represented the nation in the World Cup in 2022, started his career at Bradford Bulls and made his debut for the club in 2017. Since then, he has played for a number of clubs around the West Yorkshire area with time being spent at Batley Bulldogs, Dewsbury, Keighley Cougars, Hunslet and Featherstone Rovers.<\/p>\n

In fact, the switch to Goole represents his first permanent move out of West Yorkshire, with Tomlinson making the short journey down the M62 to Goole in East Yorkshire.<\/p>\n

Vikings head coach Scott Taylor said: \u201cKeenen is exactly the type of player we wanted \u2013 he\u2019s tough, athletic and can handle big minutes at a high level.<\/p>\n

\u201cBack row was an area we felt we can strengthen and Keenan is someone we\u2019ve had an eye on for a while \u2013 he really impressed us this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe stood out against us twice this year, he\u2019s dangerous with the ball and he brings a bit of proven experience at this level whilst still being a good age.<\/p>\n
